نَحْوُ مِيثَاقِ البِنَاءِ الإِنْسَانِيّ
بَحْرُ النَّظْمِ: مَجْزُوءُ بَحْرِ الكَامِلِ
​القَافِيَةُ: اللَّامُ المَكْسُورَةُ
المَرْدُوفَةُ بِالأَلِفِ (ـالِ)

​عَـثَـرَ الـحِـبْـرُ.. فَـلْـنَـقُـمْ لِـلْـفِـعَـالِ
لَيْسَ نَجْـوَى الحُـرُوفِ غَـيْـرَ خَـيَـالِ

​إِنَّـمَـا الـعِـلْـمُ أَنْ تَـرَاهُ رَبِـيـعًـا
يَـمْـسَـحُ الدَّمْـعَ فِي دُرُوبِ المَـحَـالِ

​يَـا صَـدِيقَ الـحَـضَـارَةِ الـيَوْمَ نَـادَى
صَـوْتُ “مِـيـثَـاقِـنَـا” لِـشَـدِّ الـرِّحَـالِ

​قَـدْ مَـلَـلْـنَـا مِنَ الـرُّفُـوفِ نُـصُـوصًـا
جَـفَّ فِـيـهَـا الـصَّـدَى بِـغَـيْـرِ نَـوَالِ

​فَاجْـعَـلُـوا الـمَـعْـرِفَـةْ جِـهَـادًا نَـقِـيًّـا
يَلْمَـسُ الأَرْضَ فِي رِ حَـابِ الجِـدَالِ

​وَازْرَعُـوا السِّلْـمَ فِي السُّلُـوكِ حَـيَـاةً
لَـيْسَ هَمْـسَ الشِّـفَـاهِ عِنْـدَ الـمَـقَـالِ

​وَلَـنْ نُـرْضِـي نُـفُـوسَـنَـا بِـكَـلَامٍ
فَأَثَـرُ الـخَـطْـوِ شَـاهِـدٌ فِي الـمَـعَـالِ

​فَـهَـاتِ الـكَـفَّ نَـبْـنِ غَـدًا كَـرِيـمًـا
لِـيَـبْـقَـى الإِنْـسَـانُ رَ مْـزَ. الـجَـلَالِ

​Toward the Charter for Human Construction
​Poetic Meter: Al-Kamil Meter (Majzoo’ Al-Kamil)
​Rhyme: The Kasra-inflected “Lām” preceded by Alif (ـالِ)
​The ink has stumbled… so let us rise for deeds,
For the whispers of letters are nothing but illusions.
​Indeed, knowledge is to see it flourish as a spring,
Wiping away tears in the paths of the impossible.
​O friend of civilization, today the voice of our “Charter”
Has called upon us to pack our bags and move forward.
​We have grown weary of texts upon the shelves,
Where echoes dried up without bearing any fruit.
​So make knowledge a pure, devoted struggle,
That touches the earth within the arenas of debate.
​And plant peace into behavior as a way of life,
Not just a whisper of lips when speeches are made.
​We will not flatter our souls with mere words,
For the impact of the stride is the witness in high heights.
​So extend your hand, let us build a noble tomorrow,
So that human beings remain the ultimate symbol of majesty.
